One of the most unique graphic novels I have ever read. The idea of illustrating the daily life moments of a heart and a brain – Heart and Brain! – is so smart, original, and yet, you can’t stop thinking, ”How has no one thought about this before?”

It just feels right. Because, after all, we all have a brain and a heart. We are able to connect to these small organs. It’s possible there aren’t many yetis among us, but that’s alright, because Heart and Brain run the show of the higher being anyway.

If you’re wondering, I connected better to brain, but I loved, loved Heart. What a sweet thing. Nothing worries Heart. It goes about its day, being the passionate organ that it is, while Brain follows right behind, making sure Heart doesn’t fall into a huge black hole while trying to capture its best friend – the orange butterfly!

But Brain and I, we’re one in the same. I worry constantly, like it does. I make a hundred plans before acting, like it does. I try to solve problems, like it does. Sometimes I wish I were more like Heart: laughing instead of worrying and acting instead of planning all the time.

Brain is an adult and Heart is a kid.
